What does pork from weed-fed pigs taste like?

Ever wonder what pork would taste like if the pigs only ate cannabis? Then check out this video about a farm where pigs actually eat nothing but cannabis leaves. If you're a vegetarian, don't.

What do you get when you combine a pig farmer and a cannabis farmer? That's right, a farmer that feeds his pigs cannabis leaves. Sounds crazy right? Well, it turns out it's not so crazy. In Oregon, there is a farm where they do exactly that.

For their food program Prime Time, Brent and Ben visit Moto Perpetuo Farm, where owner Dave Tyson shows off his beautiful plants and explains how and why they decided to feed their pigs cannabis leaves.

Pigs, similar to humans, don't get high from eating raw cannabis leaves, and therefore the leaves are actually a pretty good diet for them. Tyson also explains that by feeding the pigs all the leftover materials, his way of integrated farming is making a positive contribution to the system by producing as little waste material as possible.

Got hungry? And want to get high?

After visiting the farm, the duo visits the restaurant where the pork is served, and we see how the meat gets prepared and cooked. We have to warn you that if you are in any way vegan or vegetarian, we recommend not watching this part of the video. But if we are to believe Brent and Ben, weed-fed pork meat is delicious.
