Getting high with the help of a drone

Getting high with the help of drones isn’t a sentence you will read every day, but it is real. Meet Eric Mercer a man dedicated to using his drone flying skills to get high.

Drones are hot! From opening the Olympics to bombing presidents, there aren’t many things you can’t do with a drone. But how about getting high with the help of a drone?

Meet Eric Mercer who may be the world’s first cybernetic weed smoking organism. When Eric isn’t working his day job in Maine’s cannabis industry, he is experimenting getting high with the help of drones — and getting big ups on Instagram for his efforts. What started as some creative fun has gone viral as Eric dabs, smokes joints, and rips bongs. All with the assistance of drones.

With a surprising lack of blooper scars from rapidly rotating blades on his face. Eric started with the humble joint drone, piloting a joint fixed to a mini-drone. He gets hands-free tokes as the drone hovers in the perfect smoking position. Wanting to extend his social media reach after drone joint success, Eric has since made videos of a drone carrying a loaded dab rig zooming down from the sky to deliver a hit of concentrates. Then there is the more heavy duty drone lining up a bong of dank goodness.

Here are a couple more vids of Eric showing you how he does it.
