RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA IN RUSSIA
The cultivation, sale, and possession of cannabis for recreational purposes are illegal in Russia.
It is said that the law states that possession of cannabis for personal use (up to 6 grams) is decriminalized in Russia and that it will only be punished with a fine.
However this in real life means that possession of cannabis is believed to definitely get you in trouble. This might be dependant on the officer who catches you of course. It can happen that they will just seize your stash and send you away, but the opposite can also happen. So think about it, do you really want to spent some time in a Russian prison cell?
We are not aware of any possible law changes in the (near) future in Russia regarding medical and/or recreational cannabis.
