RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA IN ALBANIA
The cultivation, sale, and possession of cannabis for recreational purposes are illegal in Albania.
Although cannabis is illegal, Albania is known as a pretty big player on the market of cannabis growing in Europe and is supplying neighboring countries like Greece and Italy. It is not too difficult to find cannabis and when caught with a small amount for personal use, there will most likely be no prosecution.
We are not aware of any possible law changes in the (near) future in Albania regarding medical and/or recreational cannabis.
Unfortunately we do not know of any cannabis legalization groups in Albania.
