The cultivation, sale, and possession of cannabis for recreational purposes are illegal in Samoa.
Although cannabis grows in the wild and is widely used by locals in Samoa. However, any kind of possession of cannabis is illegal in Samoa and will be severely punished. In Samoa you can even get a jail sentence for possession of small quantities of cannabis, so be aware.
We are not aware of any possible law changes in the (near) future in Samoa regarding medical and/or recreational cannabis.
