Tropicanna Banana: Everything Your Love About Sativa, Without the Fuss
Tropicanna Banana is a 60% sativa-dominant hybrid created using some of the hottest Californian genetics. As its name suggests, the strain is a cross of Tropicanna, a super-potent sativa, and Banana Kush, a cross of Ghost OG and Skunk Haze. The result is a medium-tall plant with a balanced growth profile, a sweet tropical fruit aroma, and happy, euphoric effects.
Despite its sativa dominance, Tropicanna Banana produces very dense flowers and can be grown indoors with a bit of training and skill.
Aroma, Flavour, and Effects of Tropicanna Banana: Sweet, Tropical Aromas and Uplifting Euphoria
Tropicanna Banana has a strong sweet fruit aroma reminiscent of ripe bananas, guava, melons, and hints of honey. Some phenotypes also have subtle, spicy Haze undertones, while the flavour is generally sweet and slightly earthy. A single toke of Tropicanna Banana is usually enough to kick the mind into top gear and leave users with a long-lasting, hyper-focused euphoria. In general, Tropicanna Banana is best enjoyed in the early morning, during the day, or at social gatherings.
Growing Tropicanna Banana: A Compact, Manageable Sativa
Tropicanna Banana might be sativa-dominant, but it still grows well indoors, reaching an average height of 100cm. Outdoors, it performs best in warm, tropical climates, planted in large pots of organic, slightly acidic, sandy soil. Unlike most sativas, Tropicanna Banana stays somewhat stocky, although it stretches considerably as it prepares to bloom. Its flowering phase lasts roughly 10 weeks, and its yields reach 700g/m² indoors and up to 2000g/plant outside.
