Desfrán: 100% Sativa, Taking Over The Ganja Scene

When the Destroyer strain met face to face with another Destroyer strain, they knew the prophecy had to be fulfilled. Just like the face-off between Neo and Agent Smith, the clash resulted in something epic; Desfrán came to light, restoring the status-quo with its 100% sativa purity. This strain won multiple awards for inducing super cerebral and psychedelic highs with its tropical essence.

Desfrán is a tall strain, harnessing the heights of its sativa landrace ancestors. It takes this magnificence 9-10 weeks to finish flowering. Once the terpenes have developed properly, melon, grape, pear, caramel, and green apple aromas and flavors tangle into each other with epic force. Indoor growers use expert techniques to maintain the heights of this sativa powerhouse.

I bought 3 seeds from DP. I ruined one (broke the seedling), gave one to another grower-friend, and I grew one out in a 2x4 tent with an SF G3500 in living soil. I found her to be pretty difficult to grow (only my 4th grow overall). She was very hungry, and I ended up having to add organic inputs to keep her growing (Cal/Mag and Budha Bloom) through her VERY long flower. I did get her through, and finished her to a low, but high quality, 4 ounce yield. My friend (an old hippy who has grown for decades) also struggled to a 5 ounce yield. Definately smells sweet/tropical, with a positive, "optimisitic", sativa high. Really enjoyable to smoke, mosdef not "psychodelic" as often claimed. I see Desfrán as a great breeding partner to bring Sativa greatness to a faster-flowering, less moody, cultivar. I have given some buds away; everyone likes it, but to me it was too much work for the yield & quality. If I could buy the same bud at a dispensary, I would, but most likely will not grow again.
